Improving the tone, tightness and definition of your key and core muscle groups can be difficult, even with regular exercise and a good diet. Thankfully, with the help of truSculpt, your dream body can actually quickly become a reality. Without surgery. Without incisions. Without downtime.

What is truSculpt?

truSculpt is a cutting edge body sculpting system that works on anyone. It safely emits monopolar radiofrequency energy to produce incredibly rapid muscle contractions. Treatment is painless and actually comfortable, and can be completed in under an hour.

Sculpt. Build. Burn. Tone. Tighten. Curve.

truSculpt by Cutera® is a nonsurgical, noninvasive means of body sculpting that burns fat and builds muscle at the same time, helping you tackle trouble spots and stubborn pockets of adipose fatty tissue, to give you the toned, sculpted and curvaceous body you want. You’ll finish each treatment session with noticeable improvements in fat reduction, muscle tone and definition, and these results will continue to improve over the next 12 weeks.

Am I a candidate for truSculpt?

A vast majority of patients who walk through our doors would benefit from truSculpt. It’s safe and effective in all but a few circumstances. If you want to lose fat, build muscle, sculpt and tone your buttocks, body, abs and more, truSculpt is a perfect solution. If you have an implanted medical device (such as a pacemaker), or any of a small number of other conditions, you should not get truSculpt treatments. Prior to your truSculpt sessions, we’ll ensure you’re a great candidate.

Good candidates for truSculpt:

  • Have stubborn fat despite exercise and a decent diet
  • Don’t want liposuction and other invasive surgical procedures (truSculpt is neither)
  • Are busy and have little time for rest and recovery (you won’t need it)
  • Are in good general health
  • Want to treat and tone certain areas of the body

Treatment time: What is truSculpt like?

Treatment sessions last between 15 and 60 minutes. Up to eight areas can be simultaneously treated. The truSculpt body contouring system produces three distinctly effective types of muscle contraction:

  • Prep: In the Prep phase, muscles are stimulated in a twisting motion to warm them and prepare for toning.
  • Tone: In the Tone phase, muscles are very, very rapidly contracted to the point of exhaustion to increase strength and endurance. As RF energy is spurring on the contractions, it’s only the targeted muscles that reach exhaustion, not you.
  • Sculpt: In Sculpt, the muscles are more deeply contracted to build muscle mass and muscle definition. The Sculpt phase also naturally burns fat.

To you as a patient, these phases will feel a bit like a warm stone massage. The truSculpt system is initiating the muscle movement and intense exercise, giving the muscles an incredibly effective workout, without impacting your own respiratory system, stamina, or energy.

Areas of the body that can be treated

truSculpt is a versatile system. Not only can its hands-free applicators be used to treat multiple different areas of the body simultaneously, but it can also be used on almost all areas of the body that are most commonly plagued with difficulty in building, firming, and toning:

  • Upper arms
  • Stomach, flanks and abs
  • Quads and calves
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Buttocks

truSculpt treatment schedule: How many treatments will you need?

The number of treatment sessions required will depend on your goals for the procedure. It varies from person to person, with most usually requiring 2 to 4 sessions. The more fat you’re looking to get rid of, and the more muscle toning and definition you’re after, the more treatments will be needed. Treatments are, however, very effective and even after the first session, you’ll see and feel visible results.

When will I see results?

After the first treatment session, you’ll see and feel results. And again, at two weeks out, results tend to be even more noticeable. Because truSculpt also starts a natural process of your body shedding and getting rid of fat cells, you’ll notice increasing improvement for up to 6 to 8 weeks.

Preparing for truSculpt treatments

  • Don’t exercise for at least 12 hours leading up to your truSculpt treatment
  • Get very well hydrated
  • If the area to be treated has a lot of hair, it’s best to shave it

Rest, rehab, and recovery

truSculpt requires almost no recovery. You’re free to immediately return to work or your social activities immediately after your treatment session ends. You’ll feel soreness in your muscles, as you would after a nice gym workout

Following your treatment, you might continue to experience a few things that will naturally disappear within the hours following treatment:

  • Muscle contractions
  • More frequent need to use the restroom
  • Tingling in treated areas
  • Soreness/tenderness in the muscles
  • Hunger is a result of increased metabolic activity. Instead of overeating, drink water even more frequently
